Thank you! I super appreciate it :D I’m gonna be completely honest, I’ve never really used Paint Tool Sai. I’ve seen friends use it and create crazy awesome work with it, but unfortunately I’m a huge mac user, and Paint Tool SAI isn’t supported on macs :’( If you or anyone else knows how to get it on a mac without having to download crossover or adding windows (or anything too complicated), I would surely appreciate it! Thanks again for the ask!

Ahhhh thank you! I super appreciate the kind words. People ask this question a lot to me and honestly the whole concept of “style” and how someone achieves it is super strange to me because it’s a forever evolving thing. I don’t know how to explain how one gets a style because I feel like everyone develops and fosters theirs differently? I know for myself, I take inspiration from my personal experiences and hardships, as well as music. Also, I immerse myself everyday with different kinds of artwork, whether it’s recent animation work or renaissance art. Your style also might come to you when you figure out what subject you specifically keep coming back to, what color palettes you most enjoy, and what techniques you feel most comfortable with. I hope this helps, but there’s probably a lot more to it that just this when it comes to developing a style. The only advice that I know will work 100% is to draw everyday! You got this!
